Hello everyone! A couple of weeks we took a look at what was inside the Holo Taco Advent Calendar, today we will take a closer look at the all eight of the polishes that were in the calendar. All eight of the polishes have different finishes and three of the eight polishes are toppers. Some of the polishes that are topper I will be showing over some of the other non toppers in the collection.
Here are all of the polishes in the bottles.
Let's take a closer look at the polishes, I will not be going in order of how the polishes appeared in the box.
This is the first crelly polish that I have tried so I can not speak for other's, I just know from other people that I have seen online reviewing this polish have said this cruelly seems to be more on the opaque side and not as sheer as most crelly polishes.
I got the polish to be opaque in three coats. I personal don't really care for sheer polishes, so I am unsure how I feel about this one. Even thought I go it to be opaque some part did look a little patchy.
I did wear Gold Scattered Holo Taco over this polish on a few nails to show the topper and I kept some of the nails with just Silent Night that way you can see the polish on it's own.
Gold Scattered Holo Taco (Worn over Silent Night) this is a clear topper with gold scattered holo glitter in it. This topper is similar to their silver on that they had made when Holo Taco first stated to make polishes.
I applied one coat over Silent Night, this topper is very pretty and would look great over any dark colored cream polish or even a crelly sandwich, which I need to try.
Wreath Havoc Taco (worn over Silent Night, on a few nails) this is a metallic foil multi-chrome topper, that shifts from purple, teal and green.
I applied one coat over Silent Night on a few nails. This also is a very pretty topper, I do really enjoy Holo Taco multi-chrome polishes, so it is nice to have one in a topper to wear over any polish.
This polish took two coat to be opaque. This polish I did not really care for, light pink polishes are not my cup of tea, even with the holo in the polish adding Diamond Dasher Taco over the polish I still did not care for this polish. If you like more subtle light colors on your nails you may like this polish.
Diamond Dasher Taco is a holographic glitter topper that has different shape holo glitter in it such as diamond, and large and small hexagon glitter pieces.
I applied one coat of Diamond Dasher Taco over Pirouette Pink. This topper is very pretty as well of course I love the holo glitter and that there is so much glitter and many different shapes of that glitter.
This polish was opaque for me in two coat and also is very pretty. I did enjoy this polish as well, this is a nice Christmas/ Holiday colored polish, without being a true red.
In A Flurry this is light icy blue frosted metal that has scattered holo glitter in it, and a lot of sliver flakes in it as well.
This polish was opaque for me in three coats. This polish is very pretty and is probably one of my favorite polishes. Holo Taco had a polish that was kind of similar to this in their frosted metals collection that they had a few years ago, that was also a blue sadly they polish turned, I just hope this polish well not do the same thing, hopefully Holo Taco has worked on the formula of the frosted metals so they will last.
This polish was opaque for me in three coats and was also very pretty. At first I thought this was similar to the silver polish that is already in the Holo Taco line, it is not this polish still has the silver look to it but with a glow to it which I end up really liking.
There we have it all of the polishes in the Holo Taco Advent Calendar. In Conclusion I do really like all of the polishes in this collection, and that there were three tops. I have been a fan of Holo Taco for some years now and it is cool that they decided to create and advent calendar, I personally liked when Cristine surprised all of with the collection and didn't tell us before hand.
As for the polish that was my most favorite I would have to say In A Flurry. This polish fits with the winter theme and is very pretty.
Next I would say that Diamond Dasher and Gold Scattered Taco are my next favorite because of the holo glitter in them make them so pretty and would be great for a new years glitter gradient.
Sadly my lest favorite is Pirouette Pink, I just did not create for this one due to it being a light pink, it is still pretty but not one that I really care for.
Hope all of you enjoyed this closer look at all of the polishes in the advent calendar and if you missed the post about what is in the advent calendar, you can take a look at that next.
See you next time for more nail fun!
