Spring into Spring- Flower Nail Design

Hello everyone! Happy Spring time! Where I live at lest last week it was feeling nice and warm almost summer like, which was nice while it lasted, now it has cooled off, I am just ready for some nice warm weather and to have some nice sunny days. Until then if you live some where that gets cold like me then we can enjoy some spring flowers on our nails for now, until it warms up.

Here are the polishes and nail art tools used to create this pink, spring flower nail design:

Apply a base coat to clean nails.

Let that dry.

Polish-

Thumb and Pinky finger nails- a light pink cream polish (OPI- Hello Kitty- Look at My Bow!)

As a topper apply an iridescent polish over the light pink on the thumb and pinky finger nails. (Holo Taco- Polor Princess)

Index, middle and ring finger nails- a rosy pink polish (Sally Hansen- Color Therapy- Mauve Mantra)

Let that dry.

In the mean time we can mix some paint colors for our flower garden.

First mix yellow and green for a light green.

Blue and white for a light blue.

I rest of the color I did have.

Flower Nail Design

We will be doing the flower design just on our index, middle and ring finger nails, the thumb and pinky will just stay light pink with the iridescent topper.

*Also with most of the design I jump around from nail to nail as part of it dry, when I explain it I will just stick to one nail.*

First we will start off the design on the index nail. We will first start off with the flower stems, with a long striper brush with green paint on it make a line staring from the tip of the nail in the middle. Then make to leaves on each side.

On the left side make an other line with three lines at the tops and four down the stem.

On the right side make a shorter line with two lines coming from that line.

Tulip:

For the middle flower we will make a red tulip, make a U shape with three point for the flower.

Lilacs:

The flower on the left we will make lilacs, with a small detail brush on four of the small stems make very small dots in a small cluster (3 dots for a few liens, then 2 dots, then 1 at the top), so that it looks like a lilac.

Daisies:

The flower on the right we will make small daisies, make a small yellow dot on each stem and then make small line around the yellow dot for your flower petals.

Next we will create the flowers on the middle finger nail.

Once agin make a light green line down the middle of the nail with four line coming fro the sides.

On the left side make a dark green line with four lines coming from the side.

On the right side make a small green line with three lines.

For the middle flour repeat the steps for the Lilac flowers, just make two.

For the flowers on the left side just make small dots going up the stems, with yellow overlapping the white.

The flowers on the left repeat the steps for the daisies, just make three flowers.

Lastly we have the flowers on the ring finger nail. Make a long green line on the right side with two leaves on the each side.

On the right side make a long green line with four lines coming from that large line.

The flower on the left repeat the steps for the daisies, make four flowers.

The flower on the right make another U shape with red and around four points for the petals.

For your final step we will make grass on each nail. Take a thin stripper brush with dark green paint on it first and on each nail, on the tip of the nails make some thin lines, then with a light green repeat that step for more grass.

Once your pink spring flower garden is done, apply a top coat to seal in your design and to help it to last this spring.

Hope all of you enjoyed this spring flower nail design.

Have a nice Spring time!

See you next time for more nail fun!
