The index, middle and pinky finger nails will stay as is with no nail art on them.

Gingerbread Man on the Thumb Nail:

First we will start off with the gingerbread man, usually with this kind of design I jump back and forth between the two to let layers dry, when I am actually paint the designs, for explaining purposes I will just explain it all in two parts, not back and fourth like when you paint the design.

Take a thin detail brush with brown paint on it, make a large circle near the tip of the nail and fill that in. Then make two arms, for his body and legs make a upside down heart shape, then fill in your gingerbread man with brown paint, you will need to go over the a few times to be opaque.

Once your gingerbread man shape has dried, take a dotting tool with black paint on it and make two dots for his eyes.

For his smile take a striper brush with black paint and make a curved line under his eyes. With that same clean brush, just use white paint make a few squiggly line on his arms and legs.

For the last final touches we will add a bow tie and some buttons. To make his small bow tie, take a thin detail brush with red paint on it, make a small oval, then make two symmetrical round loops on each side for the rest of the bow.

Lastly take your dotting tool with white paint on it, make two dots on his tummy for the buttons

He turned out so cute! 🥰

Also if you would like you can add some snow in the background, take the same holo glitter polish that you used on the index, middle and pinky nail on a dotting tool and dot some snow on random spots on the nails.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer on the Ring Finger Nail:

To complete this design we will be crate Rudolph on the ring finger nail. Take a small detail brush with brown paint on it and make a lager circle for his head near the cuticle. Then make a large oval for his body, two little arms and then two ovals for his feet, also make two small circles on top of his head for his ears. Once you have the shape fill that in with the brown paint, you will need to go over this a few times to be opaque.

For this face make a peach colored oval near the bottom of the head and kind of near the tummy, fill this in.

On his tummy make a heart shape with the same peach color, then lastly with the peach color make two small circles in his ears.

For his facial features take your dotting tool with black paint on it and make two black dots for his eyes. For his noses make an oval in the middle of the peach oval.

On his hands fill in the tip of the hands with black and the feet make two small ovals.

For the final touch Rudolph's antlers, take your thin striper brush with black paint on it, on top of his head make two lines, with two smaller lines at the top coming out from the sides.

Just including this to show the glow that holo glitter can have!

Once your nails are Christmas ready apply a top coat to add even more shine and to help them last through all of your cookie eating.

Hope all of you enjoyed this Christmas nail design, I really like how the gingerbread came out, he is so adorable and the Rudolph also looks cute too.

Here is the practice version

Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays!

See you next time for more nail fun!

Holo Taco Advent Calendar- Polish Review

Hello everyone! A couple of weeks we took a look at what was inside the Holo Taco Advent Calendar, today we will take a closer look at the all eight of the polishes that were in the calendar. All eight of the polishes have different finishes and three of the eight polishes are toppers. Some of the polishes that are topper I will be showing over some of the other non toppers in the collection.

Holo Taco Advent Calendar
Here are all of the polishes in the bottles.

Let's take a closer look at the polishes, I will not be going in order of how the polishes appeared in the box.

Holo Taco Silent Night& Gold Taco

Holo Taco Silent Night& Gold Taco

Silent Night this is royal navy crelly polish, that can be a fully opaque midnight blue. Crelly polishes are ment to be more sheer and also can be built up to be more opaque.

This is the first crelly polish that I have tried so I can not speak for other's, I just know from other people that I have seen online reviewing this polish have said this cruelly seems to be more on the opaque side and not as sheer as most crelly polishes.

I got the polish to be opaque in three coats. I personal don't really care for sheer polishes, so I am unsure how I feel about this one. Even thought I go it to be opaque some part did look a little patchy.

I did wear Gold Scattered Holo Taco over this polish on a few nails to show the topper and I kept some of the nails with just Silent Night that way you can see the polish on it's own.

Holo Taco Silent Night& Gold Taco

Gold Scattered Holo Taco (Worn over Silent Night) this is a clear topper with gold scattered holo glitter in it. This topper is similar to their silver on that they had made when Holo Taco first stated to make polishes.

I applied one coat over Silent Night, this topper is very pretty and would look great over any dark colored cream polish or even a crelly sandwich, which I need to try.

Holo Taco Silent Night& Wreath Havoc Taco

Holo Taco Silent Night& Wreath Havoc Taco

Holo Taco Silent Night& Wreath Havoc Taco

Wreath Havoc Taco (worn over Silent Night, on a few nails) this is a metallic foil multi-chrome topper, that shifts from purple, teal and green.

I applied one coat over Silent Night on a few nails. This also is a very pretty topper, I do really enjoy Holo Taco multi-chrome polishes, so it is nice to have one in a topper to wear over any polish.

Holo Taco Pirouette Pink & Diamond Dasher Taco

Holo Taco Pirouette Pink & Diamond Dasher Taco

Holo Taco Pirouette Pink & Diamond Dasher Taco

Pirouette Pink is light blush pink with crushes holo glitter in it. I am wearing Diamond Dasher Taco over this polish on all of the nails.

This polish took two coat to be opaque. This polish I did not really care for, light pink polishes are not my cup of tea, even with the holo in the polish adding Diamond Dasher Taco over the polish I still did not care for this polish. If you like more subtle light colors on your nails you may like this polish.

Holo Taco Pirouette Pink & Diamond Dasher Taco

Holo Taco Pirouette Pink & Diamond Dasher Taco

Diamond Dasher Taco is a holographic glitter topper that has different shape holo glitter in it such as diamond, and large and small hexagon glitter pieces.

I applied one coat of Diamond Dasher Taco over Pirouette Pink. This topper is very pretty as well  of course I love the holo glitter and that there is so much glitter and many different shapes of that glitter.

Holo Taco Call Me Vixen

Holo Taco Call Me Vixen

Holo Taco Call Me Vixen

Call Me Vixen s a shimmery burgundy/ cranberry jelly, that also has scattered holo glitter in it.

This polish was opaque for me in two coat and also is very pretty. I did enjoy this polish as well, this is a nice Christmas/ Holiday colored polish, without being a true red.

Holo Taco In A Flurry

Holo Taco In A Flurry

Holo Taco In A Flurry

Holo Taco In A Flurry

In A Flurry this is light icy blue frosted metal that has scattered holo glitter in it, and a lot of sliver flakes in it as well.

This polish was opaque for me in three coats. This polish is very pretty and is probably one of my favorite polishes. Holo Taco had a polish that was kind of similar to this in their frosted metals collection that they had a few years ago, that was also a blue sadly they polish turned, I just hope this polish well not do the same thing, hopefully Holo Taco has worked on the formula of the frosted metals so they will last.

Holo Taco Ice Angel

Holo Taco Ice Angel

Holo Taco Ice Angel

Ice Angel is an ivory, (with some silver tone) colored linear holo that has an almost yellow or gold glow to it. I did wear Diamond Dasher Taco over just two nails to show how it looks over this polish, which does add to it.

This polish was opaque for me in three coats and was also very pretty. At first I thought this was similar to the silver polish that is already in the Holo Taco line, it is not this polish still has the silver look to it but with a glow to it which I end up really liking.

There we have it all of the polishes in the Holo Taco Advent Calendar. In Conclusion I do really like all of the polishes in this collection, and that there were three tops. I have been a fan of Holo Taco for some years now and it is cool that they decided to create and advent calendar, I personally liked when Cristine surprised all of with the collection and didn't tell us before hand.

As for the polish that was my most favorite I would have to say In A Flurry. This polish fits with the winter theme and is very pretty.

Next I would say that  Diamond Dasher and Gold Scattered Taco are my next favorite because of the holo glitter in them make them so pretty and would be great for a new years glitter gradient.

Sadly my lest favorite is Pirouette Pink, I just did not create for this one due to it being a light pink, it is still pretty but not one that I really care for.

Hope all of you enjoyed this closer look at all of the polishes in the advent calendar and if you missed the post about what is in the advent calendar, you can take a look at that next.

Holo Taco 2025 Mini Advent Calendar Review- Look At

Hello everyone! Today on the blog we will be taking a look at the recent release from Holo Taco for the Holiday's, their first advent calendar. This calendar has eight mini polishes and four nail accessories. In this post I will be showing what is inside this calendar. As for the eight polishes in this collection, I will just be showing them in the bottles for this post, later I will do a full review and swatches on my nails as always.

Lastly unfortunately this collection sold out very quickly, the day of launch it was all ready gone, I am unsure if Cristine/ Holo Taco will be re-releasing this collection, I have a feeling that they will not be re- releasing. I still wanted to do a review/ take a look at this collection.

Most of the calendar looks like on the inside

Holo Taco could not fit number six in with the other days, they put number six on the lid of the box.

Let's take a closer look at what is inside this Advent Calendar. Everything in this Advent Calendar is limited edition and can only be found in this collection.

Holo Taco 2025 Mini Advent Calendar

For Day 1 we have a black scattered holographic glass nail fie. This is a full size item, that has a grit to it on both sides. Glass files are said to be more gentle on the nails and they last a very long time/ forever. I do have a glass nail file from Sally Hansen that I have had for years and it is still is perfectly fine. Holo Taco does have glass nail files on the website, this file is suppose to limited because of the color.

Day 2 we have a mini nail polish Silent Night this is royal navy crelly polish.

Day 5 a mini polish called In A Flurry this is pale blue frosted metal that has scattered holo glitter in it.

Holo Taco 2025 Mini Advent Calendar

Day 6 we have a nail sticker sheet, there is three sheets in the small envelope. There are both small and large stickers on these sheets. I have not tried the stickers yet so I can't say if they stick well or not. Cristine had said on her Youtube channel the best way to use these is to first let your nail dry completely, with twisters apply the sticker, then top coat the nails.

Holo Taco 2025 Mini Advent Calendar

Day 7 is a clean up brush, this is another full size item. The brush is light weight and the small bristles are made of nylon. This is another item that is available on the website just in another color a black and multi chrome colored. I also have not used this brush yet, I am unsure how well it works. I love more of an angled brush, so we shall see.

Holo Taco 2025 Mini Advent Calendar

Day 8 is a mini hand lotion 1 FLOZ/ 30mL. This lotion is peppermint scented with Jojoba oil in it. The scent is very light and it seems like a nice lotion that will keep your hand moisturized. At first I was unsure about the peppermint scent, it seems like it is very light and will not be strong so this is a plus, at lest for me.

That is the last of the accessories, now on to the mini polishes.

Day 9 is Pirouette Pink this is a light pink crushed holo polish.

Day 11 Ice Angel is an icy ivory linear holo polish.

Lastly Day 12 Diamond Dash Taco this is a holographic glitter topper that has different shape holo glitter in it such as diamond, and large and small hexagon glitter pieces.

As stated above this collection unfortunately sold out to fast, it still is on the Holo Taco website though so who knows? The price was $199 USD for the collection. Here is the link to the website just in case and if your would like to take a another look at the collection holo-taco-mini-advent-calendar

In conclusion do I think this collection was worth it and do I like this collection? I do really like the look and idea of this collection, all of the Holo Taco collection boxes are always very nice and well thought out. As of typing this blog I have only wore three of the eight polishes and I do like the ones that I have worn, the other polishes do look very pretty and I am sure I will enjoy them as well.

As for colors Cristine and said in her video that she was not going for the more traditional Christmas colors like red, green and gold. Which I think was just fine, I do feel that this collection does still have a holiday feel to it.

Do I feel like this collection was worth $199 plus tax? This collection was kind of pricey for what it is, I do understand that this is a lot that goes into making an Indie brand polish and Holo Taco has always been more of a pricey brand. I always say that if the polish is more unique then I will pay more for it. Plus the collection boxes are always a nice touch to the collection as a whole.

Well this post is getting kind of long, we will end this off right here and as stated above I will be doing another post showing all of the polishes on my nails and give my thoughts on the polishes.

Hope all of you enjoyed this post! Happy Holo/ Holiday day!

See you next time for more nail fun!
