China Glaze My Little Pony Mini Review

Hello everyone! Today I will be doing a mini review on three of the polishes from the Spring/ Summer My Little Pony collection from China Glaze. This collection has 12 polishes in the collection; with cremes, holo glitters and shimmers, they come in full sizes and mini's. Also their are 2 special edition polishes in this collection as well.

I just purchased three of the mini polishes, most of the time I only purchase a few polishes from a collection, so I can give them a try and usually only a few really catch my eye.

Growing up in the 90's I loved My Little Pony, I use to collection them and I had containers full of the pony's. Back then they looked a lot different, they didn't have the big googly eyes for one thing. Now days I don't collection the new MY Little Pony's, but when I saw that China Glaze had a My Little Pony Collection it did interest me a little. As you all know I love bright colors and that was what interested me a little in this collection.

Let's take a look at the three polishes that I purchased.

Too Busy Being Awesome & I Just Canterlot

Let's start off with Too Busy Being Awesome.

Too Busy Being Awesome is a bright blue creme polish, that is described as a charming cerulean blue. This polish applied smooth in two coats. I do really like this polish, I like the color blue so I course I wold gravitate toward this polish. Also the name Too Busy Being Awesome is just to funny and a cool name for a polish, if I do have to say so my self. This polish I wore on four of my nails on my left hand.

Next we have I Just Can't Canterlot this is a violet glitter polish that also has holo glitter in it. This polish did take three coats to build up, I think this polish was meant to be a topper but can still be worn on it's own. This polish is very glitter and when applied to the nail it does have some texture to it, which I don't mind but if you don't care for that texture you can always use a thicker top coat to smooth out the polish. I also really liked this one as well, after all holo glitter, or even just glitter period. I also like purples as well. This polish I wore as a accent nail on my ring fingers on both my right and left hand.

Lastly we have She's a Mane- Iac this is a bright pink with a matte satiny finish too the polish. This polish applied smooth in two coats. I did apply a top coat to this polish to make it shinny, once I applied a top coat you can see small bits of pink shimmer in the polish, you can also see it in the bottle as well. This polish was nice and I like that it is super bright pink, the only thing is I feel like this polish started to chip to soon, (the other polishes seem to be okay) I polishes my nails on Sunday and on Tuesday, I stared to see some chipping on my index and middle finger nails. I did end up redoing those two nails. Also when I took off the polish on those two nails I notice some staining, where some of my nail was pink. I used my usual base coat CND Stickey base coat, bust sometimes staining can still happen. I wore this on my right hand on four of my nails.

As for the mini bottles them self, I felt like they where actually functionally and their where not hard to use and apply the polish, even though the brushes and bottles are small.

My final thoughts on this collection, I liked the polishes that I picked out they where bright and fun, and I felt like they did a goo job at picking out My Little Pony colors. Whenever you think of My Little Pony you always think of bright and fun colors, which they had a lot of in this collection. As shown above I wore all three at once and I actually thought they went well together. I never care if my nails match or not, I think it is more fun that way and I like to wear my nail polish different and out of the box, not like most people would wear their nail polish.

Hope all of you enjoined this mini review of the three mini polishes from the My Little Pony China Glaze Collection.

See you next time for more nail fun!
