Holo Taco Birthstone Collection- September and October

Hello everyone! This week on the blog we will be taking a look at the next polishes from the Holo Taco Birthstone collection, September and October. Also if you have not taken a look at the rest of the post that I did on the first few months of this collection January- August, don't forget to take a look at those as well. I have been reviewing two at a time.

September's polish is Playing With Sapphire this is described as a deep jelly base sapphire blue, with iridescent flakes, and scattered holo glitter.

This applied good in three coat, the first few coats were a little sheer but this polish did build up in three coats.

This polish did represent the September birthstone well, this blue polish is very beautiful.

October's polish is Birthday Brat this is Cristine's Birthday polish, this collection was in celebration of the creator of Holo Taco, she decided to make a polish for each month and October is her birthday month. This polish is described as bright pink topaz, frosted metal, with silver and rose gold metallic flakes, along with scattered holo and iridescent flakes.

This polish formula was good it was opaque for me in three coats.

October's birthstone has more then one birthstone a pink and a opal, Cristine decided to go with a bright pink version of her birthstone, which I am glad that she decided to go with a bright pink and not a white opal, this was a good choice.

That is all for this week, hope you have enjoyed the reviews so far even though it has taken a while to go over all 12 polishes. Next week we will be going over the last two polishes of this collection November and December, and then my final thoughts on this birthstone collection.

See you next time for more nail fun! 😊

July's polish is Ruby, Madly, Deeply this is described as a jelly base, ruby red, with holographic glitter.

This polish formula was good it was a little thick and still took three coats to be opaque for me.

This polish did represent the July birthstone well, this polish is so beautiful I do really like red polishes, I fell like red polish can look good on anyone. This polish will be great for the up and coming Christmas Holiday.

Holo Taco Birthstone Collection- August

August's polish is Peridon't Bother Me is decried as a lime green shimmer with a yellow green shift along with green reflective glitter. When I look at the bottle I see a slight blue shift on the sides, I don't see this on the nails, also in the bottle I feel like you can see the reflective glitter more then on the nail, on the nails the reflective glitter is more subtle.

This polish applied well in three coats, it was a little sheer on the first coat it did build up in three. In the photo on my thumb it loos a little sheer due to me not applying enough polish there. This polish seems like it is glowing on the nails, in the photo above when I have the light hit it looks so beautiful.

As for a good match with the birthstone, peridot is my birthstone (I was born in August) this is a great match for the August birthstone. This polish is so beautiful, usually I don't really care for green polishes but this one I do really like, Holo Taco did a good job on this. This polish will also make a great Christmas Holiday polish. I also like the name of this polish as well.

That is all for this week, hope you enjoyed July and August, those are my favorite months (yes I am biased in a good way because July is when I got married and August is my birthday month.)😊

For next week will be taking a look at September and October.

See you next time for more nail fun!

Let's take a look at May and June's polishes.

May is Emerald City this is described as an emerald green jelly with iridescent flakes and scattered holo glitter.

This polish formula was good it was a little on the thick side and it did take three coats to be opaque for me.

This polish does represent the May birthstone well.

Holo Taco- The Price Is Alexandrite

June is The Price Is Alexandrite is a mutlichrome that shifts from teal to purple, and has metallic flakes along with some scattered holo. In the photo's above this polish has a strong green shift to it (this is not close to the light), also the photo above that shows a more purple is closes to the light.

This polish applied well in two coats and had a good formula.

As for being a good match with the birthstone, I found out/ looked up the June birthstone and there is actually three different stone for this month. My dad's birthday was is in June and I always thought the birthstone was a pearl, but I was wrong. Cristine decided to create a polish on the Alexandrine version and it does represent the stone well.

That is all for this week, for next week we will be taking a look a July and August. Then we only have September, October, November, and December, four more polishes, so three more post and then my final thoughts on the collection.

Hope all of you enjoyed this birthstone post!

Holo Taco- Birthstone Collection- March and April

Hello everyone! Today on the blog we will be taking a look at the next two polishes from the Holo Taco Birthstone collection; March and April. As stated in the last post I will be going over 2 polishes from the 12 piece collection one week at a time, because I like to enjoy wearing my polishes for a week. I will wear one of the birthstones on my right and a the other on my left hand. Anyways let take a look at the next two polishes.

Holo Taco- Birthstone Collection- Happily Ever Aqua

March is Happily Ever Aqua this is described as an aquamarine linear holo polish with a cyan shimmer.

This polish has a good formula and is opaque in two coats.

This polish does resemble this birthstone, the light blue aquamarine color is shown well in this polish. This is also my hubby's birthstone. 😊

Holo Taco- Happily Ever Aqua $14USD (when in stock)

Holo Taco- Ride Or Diamond

April is Ride Or Diamond this is described as a silver diamond looking polish, that has a lot of different types of holo in it linear, flakes, glitter, and reflective glitter as well.

This polish had a good formula it did take three thin coat to be opaque, it was a little on the thicker side due to all of the glitter in it.

This polish was a perfect match for the April birthstone. This polish is so beautiful it does actually look like diamond on the nails. So far I would say this is one of my favorites. Also I do really like how the photos turned out the depth of field and shallow depth of field made the holo really stand out. 😃

That is all for this week, for next week we will be taking a look at May and June's birthstone polish.

Hope all or you are enjoying this birthstone post!
