Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a good summer. This summer has gone by so fast, we have been doing a little be of traveling this summer going to New York and Chicago and going to two big cities in one year is really not for me, it is just to busy and chaotic. Anyways today on the blog we will be taking a look at the latest collection from Holo Taco this collection did come out in July and I am a little late because of the busy summer, but I did still want to do a review on this collection.
Unfortunately as of doing this post this collection is sold out but still shows on the Holo Taco website, this is a limited edition collection maybe this collection might come back I am unsure.
Here is the collection box that all Holo Taco polish collection come in. The front and the back of the box.
Here is the inside of the collection box, all of these polishes are color changing/ thermal polish from hot to cold, and the box also changes color as well. All of the polishes can change in hot/ cold water or even from a hot to cold areas in a room.
Here are the cute boxes that they come in as well.
This collection also came with some color changing stickers. I did put them on the box, the box did not have the emotion stickers on them.
Now let's take a look at all of the polishes.
Here is Funny Feeling in the warm state this is described as chartreuse yellow, to me this look like a light green with shimmer and scattered holo glitter in it.
Second we have Rage Bait in the cold state this is described as a coral or a hot pink with shimmer and scatter holo.
Third we have Guilty Pleasure in the cold state this is described as a dark purple with shimmer and scatted holo.
Guilty Pleasure in the warm and cold state.
Fourth we have Deeply Superficial in the cold state this is described as a magenta pink with iridescent flakes and scattered holo glitter.
Lastly we have Simply Chaotic in the cold state this is described as a dark purple or dark navy blue with iridescent flakes and scattered holo glitter.
Here is a Simply Chaotic in the warm state this is described as a turquoise green.
As for formula on all of these polishes they all had an ok formula, all of the polishes did kind of have a thick formula, and due to most of the polishes being a light color on the warm state I did have to apply three coats to make sure the warm and cold state was opaque enough. As for the color changing properties, they did change very quickly from just a warm to cold room and of course water.
In conclusion these polishes are very pretty and that it is cool that you get a two in one with the color changing, so then it is like you are getting 10 polishes in the collection instead of 5. I was a little disappointed in the formula being so thick and that you really still need to apply 3 coats to be opaque. Also after I bought this collection I later found out that the color changing part may only last 6 moths to a year, which I hope is untrue due to these polishes being pricey.
As stated above these polishes are sold out and also limited edition, but are still showing on the website so I will link them just in case.

Hope all of you enjoyed this review of the Holo Taco- Mixed Emotions 5th Anniversary Collection!
