You Deserve a Metal! Holo Taco- Frosted Metals Collection Review

Hello everyone! Happy Holiday's! I don't know about all of you but I am glad that this year is almost over with, this has been a hard year for everyone, and hopefully next year will be better. Anyways with that being said for everyone that has made it though this year we all deserve a metal (in the collection boxes it says you deserve a metal) and what better metal then nail polish! Today yet again well will be taking a look at the latest collection from Holo Taco, the Frosted Metals or the Metallic Foil Collection.

As with all of the Holo Taco collection this collection came in a beautiful box, that has a metallic finish with purple, blue, and green squares on it. On the inside they is a very pretty holographic star pattern through out the inside and on the sides on the outside of the box as well. I personally really love the collection boxes they are always so pretty, and it adds a nice touch to the collections.

All of these polishes have a silver, flakey, icy metallic finish with jelly base (as described on the Holo Taco website) on the first coat they are sheer, but build well in three coats.

 

Let's take a look at the polishes!

 

Holo Taco- Frosted Metals- Cold Shoulder

Cold Shoulder is a cobalt blue that has a slight purple shift with a very shiny metallic silver glitter in it.

 

Holo Taco- Frosted Metals- Gift Receipt 

 

Gift Receipt is a very almost mirror shine silver, with metallic flakes, that is so shiny and silver that is look like you have aluminum foil on your nails!

 

Wow this polish is so shiny! that even my hubby that never really notice my nails, was like your nails look really shinny! 

Holo Taco- Frosted Metals- Cheap Champagne

Cheap Champagne is rose gold polish with a shiny silver metallic glitter through out the polish.

Holo Taco- Frosted Metals Collection- Mint Money

Mint Money is a mint/ icy green polish with a shinny silver metallic glitter finish. For some reason in my photos this polish looks almost like a light blue?

Fake Date is a light pink / lilac (as described on the Holo Taco website) with a shiny silver metallic glitter. This polish was a little bit more sheer due to it being a lighter color, but it did still build up in three coats just like the other polishes

These polishes are a little hard to remove, so if you are a little bit messy when polishing your nails (like me) try and be careful not to get to much on the sides and near the cuticles, due to the polishes being very glittery. Also when you remove the polishes you will get silver, flaky, glitter all over your fingers.

In conclusion as all of the Holo Taco collections, I do really like this collection! All of the polishes are very pretty and very shinny, which I love shinny polishes and this collection is actually very unique to my ever going nail polish collection.

Here is some extra photos of all of the polishes on my right hand with a Holographic topcoat over top. The top coat I have on is one I got from Revoln a few years ago, I don't have the holo top coat from Holo Taco so I used the one I have. Adding a holo topcoat to these polishes does make these polishes look even cooler!
