Hello everyone! Today we will be creating a summer fruit nail design, a cute pineapple nail design. Summer time is just around the corner or already here in many places, with how hot it has been and doing tropical nail designs are always my fav to do in summer time, also pineapple are one of my favorite fruits and I just think they look kind of cute too.
Here are the polishes and nail art tools used to create this nail design:
Base and top coat- CND Stickey Base Coat and CND Super Shiney Top Coat.
Polishes- Picture Polish- Salt Water- Nailstorming and Holo Taco- Lemon Sucker- Rainbow Collection.
Acrylic paint- yellow, white, green, and brown.
Nail art brushes- thin detail and stripper brush.Other- water to clean off your nail art brushes.
Apply a base coat, let that dry.
Polish-
Thumb, middle, and ring finger nail- a light blue ( Picture Polish- Salt Water- Nailstorming)
Index and pinky- a yellow holographic polish, no nail art on these nails (Holo Taco- Lemon Sucker)
Let that dry.
For this design we will be making pineapples on the thumb, middle and ring finger only. For all of the pineapples we will make an oval shape or half an oval.
First we will just make the pineapple shapes for all of the nails. For this design it is all similar just different sizes and amount of pineapples.
Starting with the middle finger nail we will make two half ovals, one near the cuticle and the other near the tip of the nail, with yellow paint that I added a little white to make a little more opaque.
On the ring finger nail we will make a small oval in the center, and then three half ovals around the nails.
Lastly on the thumb nail we will make one large oval with a flat bottom, that will cover most of the nail.
For all of your pineapples you will need to go over then a few time to be opaque.
Next on to the detail of the pineapple, on all of the pineapple make a criss cross pattern with brown paint and then make small dots in each square, except for them small pineapples on the ring finger nail.
Lastly we will make leaves on top of the pineapples, with green paint on top of your pineapple start off by make two curved lines right next to each other, repeat one or two more times depending on the size of your pineapple, then lastly make a straight line from the top of your leaves.
On the ring finger nail you can also add some leaves to fill in some empty space.
Once you are finished your pineapple nail design apply a top coat to seal in your design and to help it to last.
Hope you enjoyed this tropical pineapple nail design, there will be more tropical designs to come this summer.
See you next time for more nail fun!
